The Case of Wiliam Worm *#1*

In a small town just outside of Zootropolis, lies the city of Wormington.  It is a quaint neighborhood that is full of mystery and unsolved cases.  The weather is fairly gloomy throughout the year and many people are left fearful of going outside their homes.  Even the air is distinctly pungent of fried pickles and burnt pumpkin pies.  Needless to say, it is not a tourist attraction but a city where you are suggested to constantly keep your guard up and be aware.  Strangely, the majority of commoners seem to not understand why the people of Wormington are in this predicament.  It is merely an unspoken golden rule the town has become accustomed to.

Not too long ago, there was a little boy named William Worm.  He was a clean-cut looking fellow that had one mission...to get his family out of Wormington as soon as possible.

Why do you ask?

Well, the rush to safety began when one of his classmates, Susie Slime, had been reported missing for the past three weeks.  As mentioned earlier about Wormington's unsolved cases, this was only another worm to add to the list.  Due to this unfortunate circumstance being extremely common, nobody scurried to find her.  This behavior of the city exemplifies an 'every man for himself' type of mentality.

Which brings us to the moment of William Worm finding himself as another cold case.  This particular day happened to be one of the harshest weather experiences that Wormington has ever had.  As little William was slithering back home from school, he suddenly felt a presence having their eyes breathing on him.  He slightly turned his head to see if his senses were true, and noticed everyone in town had disappeared.  The only movement that was present was the leaves falling and raindrops slamming on the cobblestone streets.  William frantically raced home but dropped his school books and assignments along the way.  He was at a fork in the road, deciding whether or not he should keep going or gather his belongings and continue.  Unfortunately, he was at a loss for thinking logically and decided to pick up his belongings, then rush home.   As he bent down, he saw from a distance a shadow blocking the only path home.

With not many options and in distress, he quickly cuts through the Vacuum Repair Shop.  As William swifts through the aisles, he promptly came to the realization that this might be the reason the people of Wormington have gone missing.

With a combination of William's mind racing and him profusely scurrying through the shop...BOOM! he slams into a soft, feather-like creature but with his vision starting to get blurry, he could not figure out who it was.

"So, you race into my store like a maniac and bump into me without saying hello? haha silly worm. Well, you won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Make yourself comfortable, you know Susie right?"

It is reported that the last time anyone saw William Worm, was just before school was out and the legend of Wormington remains the same mysterious city with another unsolved case.

Now you may be wondering who am I?

My name is Chick, but you may know me as S.C or 'Stalker Chicken'.  I write a blog about missing people.

Little do the commoners of Wormington know, it is I who captures them.

How else do you think I know every detail of their disappearance?
